Because the density of tin ore is higher than that of symbiotic minerals, the traditional process of tin ore beneficiation is gravity beneficiation. The particle size of tin mineral in the selected ore becomes finer, and the tin can be floated. Since various iron oxide minerals often exist in tin minerals, such as magnetite, hematite, and limonite, these minerals cannot be separated from tin stone well by flotation and gravity separation. Magnetic separation has appeared in the beneficiation process. Therefore, gravity, flotation and magnetic separation can be used for processing tin ore. Take the flotation separation for tin ore as an example, four steps are generally taken.

1. Crushing and screening:
Tin ore is sent to the jaw crusher for primary crushing. After crushing, the tin ore is screened by the circular vibrating screen, and the qualified crushed ores enter the next processing step.

2. Grinding and sorting:
Qualified tin ore is sent to the ball mill for grinding, and then sent to the classifier for sorting. The unqualified ones are returned to the ball mill to continue sorting, and the qualified ones are sent to the next step.

3. Stirring and flotation separation:
The tin ore is sent to the mixing tank and the medicine is fully mixed and stirred, and then flows into the flotation machine for flotation.

4. Dehydration and drying:
The tin metal after flotation enters the thickener for dehydration, and then is quickly dried by the dryer.
