The main component of limestone is calcium carbonate (CaCO3) with a Mohs hardness of 3. After being mined from limestone, limestone is crushed to form limestone particles and further ground to form limestone powder, which is widely used in construction materials, highways, metallurgy, chemical industry and other industries. Lime has quick lime and slaked lime. After calcination, limestone becomes calcium oxide CaO (commonly known as quicklime), generally in the form of blocks, used in water quality treatment, asphalt improvement, desulfurization, building materials, medicine and other industries. Quicklime becomes slaked lime by absorbing moisture or adding water. The main component is calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)2, which is used in environmental protection, medicine, food and other industries.
Raymond mill and HGM grinding mill are both limestone powder making machines. HGM grinding mill
belongs to Raymond mill series, and is an upgraded version of ordinary Raymond mill. Ordinary
Raymond mill can work continuously for 8-10 hours, HGM can work continuously for 24 hours. Our
company generally recommends to work continuously for 8-10 hours, shut down for 1-2 hours and
then
work again, which is good for the machine.
The wear part of limestone grinding mill is mainly grinding roller and grinding ring, which are
made
of Mn13. Blade and blade seat’s raw material-the main body is Q235, the front part of the blade
is
wear-resistant steel Q345. The number of grinding roller and grinding ring varies with models of
grinding mill (you can learn more by following data sheet).
